Ferrofluid Microscopic Science Art - Panoramic Canvas Wrap Print
The microscopic world is full of beauty if one takes the time to look and discover it. Artist and photographer Justin Zoll has spent years experimenting with chemicals and fluids under a microscope to capture their stunning creations for the rest of us to enjoy.
This earthy panoramic is a mixture of ferromagnetic iron/iron oxide nanoparticles suspended in solvent where their natural magnetic and rheological properties form these cell-like structures. Ferrofluids are an active area of research in medical magnetic drug targeting, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), shape-shifting optics and energy harvesting.
This is not a digital creation. This ultra-high resolution image was painstakingly stitched together from high-mag images and maintains the printed art standard of 300 dpi even at 36" long.
A perfect artistic conversation starter for passionate scientists struggling to find the right art for their home or office. Hang it over your desk, your lab bench or in your home to add modern art style that is secretly science!
