I'll be honest. I wanted to become a scientist in part for wearing the lab coat. Low and behold, almost nobody in academia wears lab coats. That being said, I believe I started a trend at my university as everyone loves wearing this lab coat. It's very convenient, it looks nice, and I get great complements. Two teachers even asked me where I got mine (sorry, but unless you change that chem 141 grade to an A, this secret stays with me.)

Full disclosure: I was a beta tester for these lab coats, so I've loved the idea from the start. When my lab needed new coats, I had them check out mine and they decided to order some. Theirs just came in (3 men's and 1 women's) and everyone loves them! All the pockets are so handy, the fit is great (they used the size chart to make sure they got the correct fit) and the snaps are so much better than buttons. My lab mates have been showing off their coats to their friends in other labs, and they're already ready to order their own. Do yourself a favor and try one out!

Put my new Genius labcoat on this morning for a microbiology practical and don't want to doff it! It's functional, a perfect fit and I love the cuffs, pockets and the other details! It's paying that bit more; I would recommend it!

Everything from the fit, numbers/size/position of pockets, snap closures, elasticized cuffs, and the material are exactly what I love in the numerous coats I’ve worn over the years combined into one über lab coat! The only thing missing is a holster for an ice bucket 😉

Am I medical laboratory scientist, my experience with this lab coat will be primarily in clinical chemistry, hematology, and urinalysis.

Genius really delivered on this one, I love the coat. Pockets are thoughtfully placed and perfectly sized. The fit is excellent, I’m 6’3” and 170lbs, so I ordered a small (I measured chest and waist and used the size guide). It’s the first lab coat that made me feel like I look professional. The pleats in the back are effective, the coat doesn’t ride up when I reach far forward or above my head. The fabric seems hydrophobic, I’ve spilled a little fluid on mine already and it rolled right off. Would definitely buy again, and I’ll be considering ordering a few as graduation gifts for our students.

It is a well made lab coat , and a great quality for the price paid. It looks good for wearing at work or even home.

Near perfect coat! Great design, nice style and adjustability. Heavy fabric, excellent snap buttons and pockets. The only things I would do differently is add a bit of lycra or nylon for a bit of stretch to the fabric and other colors than white. My coat fit me perfect. I ordered a 2x and I wear a size 12-14 in women's clothing. Most lab coats I wear a large or XL. The measurements on their 2x matched my body shape. I would order more if it came in other colors.
