This lab coat fits like a glove and has so many pockets. I have been wearing lab coats for over a decade and this is the by far the best quality coat I have ever had. The functionality and safety considerations are perfect and well thought out. Plus the customization makes it look very sharp. Highly recommend!

The tapered sleeves are a fantastic touch. I have become pretty tired of lab coat sleeves being a point of contamination or catching on things as I reach across the bench. The genius lab coat fixes that with the tapered sleeves.

The coat is very comfortable. The buttons are sturdy and secure. I feel quite stylish as I try to discover something interesting in the lab.

My one gripe is the zippered access to my trouser pockets is between 4-6 inches too low. I’m not the tallest fella on the lab water bath polo team (5 foot 6) so the zippered access is probably fine for most folks but a less than average height lab coat option might be a good thing. (That or a pony… I’ll leave it up to you.)

Fits beautifully. Love the feel and the sheer versatility. After washing, it may even fit better.

I picked this up from Amazon Vine. This truly is genius! I run a small mycology lab and found my self searching for something like this to use to prop my cultures for making slants. I happened to be on Vine looking for lab gear and stumbled on this. It was just what I was looking for.

I use this paired with a centrifuge rack to make bulk slants for long term culture storage. This also certainly works wonderful for making slant cultures with plates as well. Fabulous design!!!

We bought the lab coat on a professors recommendation. After placing the order I realized I had the incorrect address and the order would take longer than expected. I contacted customer service and was texted of the update and expedited delivery.

In my 15+ years as a professional scientist, I have never worn a more comfortable lab coat. This may be TMI, but I'm curvy. Like popping buttons or snaps on normal lab coats curvy. For once, my labcoat stayed safely fastened and did not pinch or pull, it actually fit. I will be recommending these labcoats to all my colleagues, and putting in a bulk order for my team. I’ve always wanted a black lab coat, and I was already in love with the Curie design but got distracted from ordering it and when I finally came back, they had it in black!
I needed to exchange the size because the large size sleeves were too long on me (very short) but the process was easy and I love my black curie in medium!

The cotton fabric is comfortable yet still crisp, so it holds its shape but isn’t scratchy and annoying like those typical loaner coats in the lab that are polyester. I’m really enjoying the higher quality of the snap fasteners too, the larger metal pieces feel more substantial and durable so getting in and out of the coat is easier and never feels like the closures are going to come away with the fabric. Also the pockets are generous and functional.

The design of this coat is tapered and more fitted, so aside from being functional and comfortable it also just LOOKS better. I would say the fit is on the leaner side, so consider sizing up if you want some extra room or will wear this over bulkier base clothes like a hoodie.

Overall I’m really happy this lab coat! I chose to get it embroidered too - the stitching quality is nice and elevates the coat even more.

I was specifically looking for a 100% cotton lab coat because I am very sensitive to synthetic materials. They feel awful on my skin, trap odours, and are bad for the environment. I knew I wanted something breathable and gentle on my sensitive skin. Additionally, I knew that I did not want to exhaust myself jumping from store to store looking for lab coats, nor did I want to buy something online from Amazon. I went with Genius Lab because of the material, the care that seemed to go into helping the customer select the right fit, and the fact that their selection was small. I am very happy with my choice. The lab coat feels great, looks great and several of my classmates have asked me for the name of the company that made it. I bought a second cheaper lab coat from my university and this further validity my choice to pay the premium for Genius Lab.
