Hits all the osha stuff for dentistry as well. Quite comfortable, good fit. Bought 3. For future versions, if you want to expand your market, I’d consider having the option for the button snaps to not be silver or more hidden. This is not a paid or coerced review.

Put my new Genius labcoat on this morning for a microbiology practical and don't want to doff it! It's functional, a perfect fit and I love the cuffs, pockets and the other details! It's paying that bit more; I would recommend it!

Our staff love the lab coat. It's great for working in areas with flammables. We do have a water treatment area and we would love to buy the same style in a water resistant lab coat.

My use case is a little unusual: I actually bought it for kitchen use in lieu of an apron at home rather than to wear in the lab during work. But this is the best lab coat I've ever worn! I am (or used to be) a laboratory scientist and so have worn many over the years and this is the most comfortable one I've used with all the little pockets and loops for pens and tools. It simultaneously feels sturdier and cooler (i.e. temperature) than the PE or cotton canvas coats I used in my lab days and also looks way cooler (e.g. drip) and less frumpy than the ones I've used. The fabric feels high-quality I haven't found any stitching defects so far. I can't speak to its laboratory safety or acid resistance, but it sure works well at protecting me and my clothes from oil and grease splatter!

I study chemistry and I also do indipendent research and I love this lab coat because I can bring all the stuff I need just in the dedicated pocket, and is also more comfortable that every other lab coat I ever wore in my life. My friends also said that is the best lab coat that they have ever seen; some said that I overpaid it, but I don't think so.
Overall, one of the best purchases that I have ever made.

I funded a Kickstarter for Genius Lab Gear a few years ago and I'm glad I did.
I used to be the kind of lab geek that messed with biology, chemistry, and geology. I needed lab coats and had quite a few. Every one of them was terrible, and in my opinion most still are.
I didn't need one but I had adult money and wanted to support their vision of creating a new kind of lab coat, and I love it. I wish I actually needed it so I could wear it more often.
If you or someone you care about needs a lab coat that's actually functional, you should check them out. Their cuts are fitted for masculine and feminine body types, pregnant persons, the back is pleated so you can actually use your arms, the cuffs are knit and tight and don't drag in liquids or knock stuff off the bench. The collar is awesome; it pops up and looks like an old-time movie mad scientist and buttons to the neck. It actually looks kind of like the one Professor Membrane wore in "Invader Zim". Even I look good wearing it.

My students and I really love our lab coats. They're super stylish and do a great job as my AP Chemistry students use them during lab work. They've already asked if they can take the lab coats with them when they graduate at the end of the school year.

It is a very nice labcoat with a lot of great features. However for men who have wider hips I do recommend going a size up as even if you fit between the size parameters it will feel quite snug. Beyond that no complaints and just great overall!

We bought the lab coat on a professors recommendation. After placing the order I realized I had the incorrect address and the order would take longer than expected. I contacted customer service and was texted of the update and expedited delivery.

I am a mechanical engineer but I needed a lab coat since I ended up having some work that needed to be done with chemicals, every coat I found had two glaring issues, either wizard robe sleeves that looked terrible to have near dangerous chemicals or a big open blazer that does nothing for your general neck/chest. This is the only coat that is a solid price, and solves both those issues as well as has many bonus things that I didn’t even think of like the zippers to get to your pants pockets, it’s so damn cool and I’m definitely only coming here for the future if I need another

Got one size bigger than my measurements suggested and it fits very well! Despite it fitting more snugly than regular "one size fits all" type of slope lab coats, this lab coat doesn't limit the movement at all I loved the knit cuffs feature as well. Worth every single penny!

Yes, everything in the marketing is true, which is surprising. The material is a durable cotton, almost a light denim. This will last for quite sometime. Stitching and tailoring are comparable to a high quality dress shirt. Excellent details and thoughtful design. I was prepared for “meh” given the price. Instead I got “wow.” Love the cuffs especially; close enough to protect the wrists but comfortable and robust. Fits my slender frame perfectly but not constrained. I’m impressed.

Cotton naturally wrinkles much more easily than synthetic fibers, so yes. Synthetic fibers like polyester are often used to make "wrinkle resistant" fabrics, but many labs required 100% cotton so this isn't possible.

We publish detailed size charts to make sure you find the right fit the first time. You just need to check it against your own measurements. However, the lab coats can be returned or exchanged if you cover the shipping and restocking cost (usually around $12 total in the USA).

Yes! We've already had customers send in photo of these dyed black and green. The only catch is that the stitching is synthetic (for strength) so it will always be white. Tye-dyed lab coat here we come!
