This lab coat is made from 100% cotton and all-metal snaps, which is accepted in most standard laboratory environments including introductory chemistry and biology lab classes. Please check with your lab safety officer for compatibility.
Fire:
100% Cotton provides better protection against flames than polyester or poly-cotton mixtures because polyester will melt to your skin and prevent emergency lab coat removal. 100% cotton is not “FR”, “flame-retardant” or “fire-proof”, and will burn slowly if exposed to intense flames. If your lab requires “FR” lab coats, get on our email list for our future release with flame retardant materials.
Acids:
Most lab coat materials, including 100% cotton, absorb strong acids and may develop holes from exposure. Always wear a neoprene, rubber, or PVC apron and long acid-resistant gloves on top of your lab coat when handling strong acids.

International shipping:
Available worldwide for $20-$40. Additional taxes and duties may need to be paid to the local customs authorities on delivery.

Bulk order pricing is available for orders of 10 or more. We accept POs when ordering at least 5 lab coats but prefer credit card payments.

Great Lab Coat
I'll be honest. I wanted to become a scientist in part for wearing the lab coat. Low and behold, almost nobody in academia wears lab coats. That being said, I believe I started a trend at my university as everyone loves wearing this lab coat. It's very convenient, it looks nice, and I get great complements. Two teachers even asked me where I got mine (sorry, but unless you change that chem 141 grade to an A, this secret stays with me.)

Put my new Genius labcoat on this morning for a microbiology practical and don't want to doff it! It's functional, a perfect fit and I love the cuffs, pockets and the other details! It's paying that bit more; I would recommend it!

A legitimately better lab coat
Am I medical laboratory scientist, my experience with this lab coat will be primarily in clinical chemistry, hematology, and urinalysis.
Genius really delivered on this one, I love the coat. Pockets are thoughtfully placed and perfectly sized. The fit is excellent, I’m 6’3” and 170lbs, so I ordered a small (I measured chest and waist and used the size guide). It’s the first lab coat that made me feel like I look professional. The pleats in the back are effective, the coat doesn’t ride up when I reach far forward or above my head. The fabric seems hydrophobic, I’ve spilled a little fluid on mine already and it rolled right off. Would definitely buy again, and I’ll be considering ordering a few as graduation gifts for our students.

Zippered side vents

100% Soft Cotton Twill
A proprietary blend of durable, tightly woven, medium-weight twill for protection, finished with softening and stain-release non-chemical processes perfect for lab coats. It won't melt onto your skin like polyester.
Long knit cuffs
Soft rib-knit cotton cuffs gently hug your wrists to keep your skin protected as you reach for those chemicals in the back. Tapered forearm sleeves also help keep your lab coat out of your science.
