January is the best time for self-reflection and inspiration. Our science heroes have some of the best quotes to get you going and we've put them into these cute little 5"x7" canvases that are perfect for your desk. Use the code 10OFFQUOTES for 10% off all quote canvases for the month of January!
I'll be honest. I never once read a book while pursuing my engineering degrees that was not a textbook, and that was a mistake. If I'm being honest, I had the free time, and I could have learned so much more about the world outside my little engineering bubble. I put together this list (sorted by major) to help engineers find non-technical books that they would still find an enjoyable read.
My challenge for you in January is to find and read 2 of these books. On average they'll take about 8-10 hours each. One hour at the end of every weeknight will get you through 2 books a month. If you keep that habit, you'll cover 24 books a year! Pro tip: Get the free 1-month trial of Audible and use your free credits first!
We officially announced The Lab Coat Project on social media and by email in mid-November (2 weeks after we linked it here). The response has been huge so far! We've already collected over 200 responses to the form below, but we need 1000 to launch it! If you use a lab coat, please take 8 minutes right now to give your advice on what YOU would change about your lab coat!
Because I've been watching too many Sci-Fi shows lately, and this just feels right.
