Febuary Discount:

If you're doing any Organic Chemistry, you might already have The Pocket Chemist. Did you know we also made an "Exam Edition" that has those rare 7- and 8-membered rings? We also removed all of the reference info so that you could use it on an exam. Use code TPCEXAM20FOR2 to get 20% off of 2 Pocket Chemists - Exam Edition through the month of February! Get one for yourself, and make a friend very happy by gifting the extra one to them.

Febuary Resource - Take a break from textbooks:

I was very guilty of only reading textbooks in college and grad school. I missed so many opportunities to learn about STEM history, STEM role models and some of the greatest problems facing our world today, through reading other books. Since graduation I've been an avid reader and I want to encourage you to take on just one book "for fun" per semester". Below are the lists I put together to help you choose:

Febuary News - New videos from The Lab Coat Project prototypes!

We've been sharing more videos of the prototypes and textile selection on social media, and I didn't want anyone to miss them! :

      • 1-minute video of all the cool features on the prototype
      • 8-minute video to nerd out on the different high-tech textiles in the first sample batch, plus lots of fun colors to look at
      • 5-minute video showing my thoughts on an alternate factory's sample and talking through the decisions that went into each design element
      • 3-minute video of two new FR textiles very close to what we want on Instagram
      • Short Reel of our dedicated 4-pen pocket (soon to be 5-pen) on Instagram

If you know a single scientist or engineer who wears a lab coat and has not taken this survey, we need their voice added! It's only an 8-minute form. Forward this link to them and tell them how awesome this is going to be when everyone contributes.

            Just for fun:

The marine biologist grad student was elated to be the first author on her new paper: "Newly discovered seasonal migration paths of Spheniscidae to northern European climates".
