We opened the pre-order for The Lab Coat Project on August 31st. After 4 weeks, we're close to 60% funded (about 365 lab coats ordered). But, we need to get to 600 total before Oct. 13th to fund half the manufacturing. This lab coat will never be sold below $50 again, so this is your only chance to get the discount AND you will help ensure we can manufacture these to help scientists love what they wear at work. Plus, if you add a Pocket Protector with your lab coat, you get it 15% off!

Having trouble finding money to try that new experiment idea? Crowdfund it!: I recently discovered Experiment.com, which lets researchers post a "Project" to allow the public to crowdfund it to the tune of typically $2,000-$10,000. In return, the backers get direct first access to the results the experiments produce.
So far, the website's 1100+ projects have raised over $11 million. Do you have an idea that could be inexpensively tested and might be of interest to the public? Here's the quick "How it works" page. For examples, try the "chemistry" category page to see what makes a successful project. Good luck!

We are totally focused on getting The Lab Coat Project across the finish line. We need the funds raised to cover half of the ~$50,000 manufacturing costs. Since the initial order flood, it's slowed down a lot. So we're spending a lot of time leveraging our network to reach labs that may do larger group orders. If your lab could use some better lab coats, please email us right away!
